abstract = {This paper presents a simulation based model of an unbalanced radial distribution system. The distribution system is consisting of a three phase induction machine load, a single phase photovoltaic, a three phase power factor correction capacitor and a load. The single phase photovoltaic is interconnected to grid through a voltage source inverter. The single phase photovoltaic model includes maximum power point tracking, proportional resonance controller, and a phase locked loop. This model is demonstrated using two case studies.
The devolved model is used to analysis the dynamic performance and effect of unbalance on the system. The system dynamic performance is investigated using this model. The complete analysis is carried out in MATLAB/SimPowerSystems environment.
