Based on the terrain and operating conditions, the heat generated from the shock absorber is applied to preheat the mixed refrigerant on heating mode, to reheat the cold refrigerant on cooling mode, and to exhaust to the refrigeration system. A numerical simulation has been carried out to analyze the performance of the integrated system. The results show that the heat extracted from the shock absorber can be used to preheat the refrigerant while entering into the compressor. This serves two purposes, primarily it reduces the temperature of shock absorber which minimizes the failures of its functions like damping and secondary it increases the efficiency of the air conditioning system}, keywords = {Automotive Air Conditioning System, Shock Absorber, Temperature, Damping, Efficiency}, month = {}, }
