Drawing from a sample of 256 employees from various educational institutions in Odisha, India, the research identifies four primary contributors: demographics, organizational factors, the working environment, and psychological elements. The findings reveal that while organizational and working environment factors significantly predict workplace incivility, demographic factors have a minimal impact. Psychological factors, particularly job-related emotions and perceptions of unfairness, show the strongest correlation with uncivil behaviors. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis demonstrates that organizational culture, political dynamics, and mental health are crucial in shaping workplace incivility. The study underscores the importance of addressing mental health concerns and fostering a respectful organizational culture to mitigate incivility and improve overall workplace productivity. The research highlights that a multifaceted approach is essential for organizations seeking to create a more respectful and inclusive work environment.}, keywords = {Workplace Incivility, Organizational Culture, Psychological Factors, Working Environment, Employee Well-Being.}, month = {September}, }
