  • Abstract:
  • In today’s business climate, businesses confront more complex strategic problems, coming from technological innovation, global rivalry, economic instability, environmental concerns, changing stakeholder expectations and ethical duties. Strategic management is no longer just about profit and economic advantage, but also about maintaining openness, accountability, fairness and social responsibility. The use of artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation and data-driven decision-making has further heightened ethical issues around privacy, cybersecurity, algorithmic discrimination, job displacement and corporate governance. The research study discusses the link between strategic issues and business ethics, focusing on how organisations incorporate ethical concepts into strategy planning, execution, and performance assessment. This is a descriptive and analytical analysis, based on current scholarly material released between 2023 and 2026. The paper develops a structured conceptual framework around four primary dimensions: technical and digital issues; ethical leadership and corporate governance; stakeholder responsibility; and sustainability-oriented strategic management. The results from the illustrative numerical datasets suggest that data privacy, cybersecurity, ethical leadership and regulatory compliance are key issues that affect organisational performance and strategic decision-making processes. The data also reveals that organisations with ethical governance included in their strategic frameworks are better positioned to build stakeholder trust, manage reputational risks and create sustainable competitive advantage. Ethics should be seen as an inherent part of strategic management rather than just a compliance requirement, the research says. Organisations should create transparent governance structures, encourage ethical leadership, promote responsible technical innovation and include stakeholder interests in long-term strategic choices.
