  • Abstract:
  • Footstep power generation, a promising technology for converting human kinetic energy into electrical energy, utilizes the mechanical energy from footsteps to generate electricity. This method is based on the principle of energy conservation, where kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy through mechanical systems. This paper explores use of a rack and pinion mechanism for footstep power generation, highlighting its working principle, advantages, and potential applications. The study aims to demonstrate the feasibility of this technology in urban settings and its contribution to sustainable energy solutions.
