A FUZZY PRODUCTION INVENTORY MODEL FOR DETERIORATION ITEM USING PRESERVATION TECHNOLOGY

  • This paper creates a production inventory model for seasonal products that deteriorate and whose rate of degeneration can possibly controlled by investing in preservation attempts in a fuzzy environment. The rate of deterioration is currently reduced through preservation techniques. Since all parameters are unpredictable, these are carried by various fuzzy numbers such as triangular fuzzy number, trapezoidal fuzzy number, pentagonal fuzzy number, hexagonal fuzzy number, heptagonal fuzzy number and Defuzzified by using Pascal triangular graded mean method. The optimal solution is to find by using Kuhn Tucker technique. A numerical example using both a crisp and fuzzy technique has been provided and results are compared.
