Privacy-Preserving Wearable Health Monitoring using Encrypted IoT Protocols

  • This paper presents a privacy-preserving wearable health monitoring framework leveraging encrypted IoT protocols. Wearable devices, while improving remote health tracking, introduce significant risks concerning personal data privacy. We propose an integrated solution combining lightweight cryptographic methods such as ECC, homomorphic encryption, and secure IoT protocols like MQTT and CoAP. Evaluations show that our method preserves confidentiality with minimal performance overhead, suitable for real-time applications.
