  • Triphala is composed of three medicinal fruits – terminalia chebula (Harad or Hirda), terminalia bellirica (Behada), and Emblica officinalis (Amla) has been reserved in a vedic medicine for centuries due to its wide range of therapeutic application. modern scientific research has validated its numerous health benefit including its significant role as an anticancer agent for individual. Triphala exhibits potent anticancer activity through multiple mechanisms such as induction of apoptosis, inhibition of tumor growth and modulation of oxidative stress. in addition to its anticancer potential triphala also demonstrates antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiulcer, antidiabetic and immunomodulatory effects, making it a versatile natural remedy. It gives multifaceted pharmacological profile, triphala holds great promise as a complementary and alternative approach in cancer prevention and therapy.
