abstract = {The global and Irish organisations in the area of Human Resource Management (HRM) have undergone major changes due to Digital transformation. Recruitment, performance management, learning, and employee engagement have been improved by technology for instance Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), artificial intelligence (AI), cloud platforms, and analytics have been tremendously effective in these areas. The paper contrasts traditional with modern HR functions, scrutinizes the role of digital technologies in HR practices and inserts Irish case-studies such as Workday (Dublin), Workvivo (Cork), AIB, and the HSE. The results show that technology increases efficiency, helps in making strategic decisions, and transforms HR into a business partner. Besides, recommendations on how to handle the digital transformation process in Ireland are given to the HR leaders.},
