abstract = {This research study examines the effect of online learning on the academic achievement of students. The rapid growth of digital technology has changed the way teaching and learning take place. Online classes learning platforms and digital resources are now common in higher education. The study aims to understand whether this mode of learning helps students improve their academic performance. It also tries to explore the experiences of students during online learning.
The study follows a descriptive survey method. Data were collected from undergraduate students through a structured questionnaire. Academic records were also used to measure achievement. The focus was on study habits level of participation access to devices and support from teachers. The responses show how students engage with online lessons and manage their learning tasks.
The findings reveal that online learning has a positive effect on academic achievement when students are motivated and guided properly. Regular interaction with teachers helps students understand concepts better. Availability of recorded lectures supports revision and self study. Students who used online resources frequently showed better results in tests and assignments. However, some students faced problems like poor internet and lack of quiet space for study. These issues affected their concentration and learning.
The study highlights that the success of online learning depends on quality of teaching and support systems. Teachers need training to design simple and engaging lessons. Institutions should provide strong digital infrastructure. Students should be encouraged to develop self discipline and time management skills. When these conditions are met online learning can become an effective tool for academic growth.
The results of this study are useful for teachers’ administrators and policy makers. They can help in planning better online programs that focus on student needs. The study concludes that online learning is not just a temporary solution but a meaningful part of modern education that can improve academic achievement when used with care and purpose.},
