abstract = {Fast food has become a popular dietary choice among college students due to its convenience, affordability, and accessibility. With the demands of academic life, tight schedules, and limited budgets, many students rely on fast food as a quick solution for meals. The study aims to analyze the socio-demographic profile and the impacts of fast-food addictions among college-going students. The researcher adopted a descriptive research design. Non-Probability-Convenient Sampling was used to collect data. The sample size is 50. The researcher prepared a self-structured interview schedule for data collection. The study indicates that College life often brings about lifestyle changes, including irregular eating habits, peer influence, time constraints, and attraction to affordable, easily available fast food. These factors contribute to the development of unhealthy eating behaviors, leading to potential fast-food addiction. Finally, the study concluded that fast-food addiction is linked to obesity, diabetes, digestive issues, cardiovascular problems, and even psychological conditions such as anxiety and depression. The study also provides suggestions for developing targeted interventions and educational programs to promote healthy eating habits.},
