abstract = {Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become an important technology for improving the performance, security, and management of computer networks. Traditional network management techniques often depend on predefined rules and manual monitoring, which may not be sufficient to handle modern network environments. AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning, can analyze large amounts of network data, identify unusual activities, predict network failures, and optimize resource allocation. AI is increasingly being applied in network traffic management, intrusion detection, fault diagnosis, Quality of Service (QoS), and Software-Defined Networking (SDN). This paper examines the role of AI in computer networks, its major applications, benefits, challenges, and future research directions. It also discusses how AI-enabled networking can support emerging technologies such as 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and future 6G networks.},
