abstract = {Background: Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health conditions of childhood and adolescence, and they often occur together with disruptive behaviour disorders such as conduct disorder. This combination is difficult to manage, because suspicion, anger and fear of treatment can lead young people to refuse medication and disengage from care, with lasting effects on schooling, family life and peer relationships. Individualized homoeopathy, which selects a remedy on the totality of mental and physical general symptoms, is used by many families as an option in such situations. This report describes an adolescent with panic disorder and comorbid conduct disorder managed with individualized homoeopathic treatment over about one year, and discusses the findings, strengths and limitations of the case as part of a thesis on anxiety disorders.},
