Abstract
The business environment of an organization is influenced by a variety of factors that are both internal and external to the firm. Internal variables operate within the confines of the company, and the business has complete control over them. The organization's culture and organizational structure Finance, systems, human and other physical resources, and other factors are internal to the firm. All departments work together in concert to achieve the organizational goals since they are interconnected. This entails sharing data between departments and building a small data pool, both of which are essential for decision-making. A system of information that may offer information on sales, purchases, human resource management, financial requirements, inventory control, logistics management, and other areas must be developed. This research paper intends to find out the outcome of practicing ERP effectively and implementing the JIT / lean inventory systems of operation.

In the past, a single firm has often been the focus of lean deployments and research, without the entire supply chain. However, the term "lean supply chain" is used when the lean philosophy is applied throughout the entire supply chain.
The goal of this thesis is to understand the effect of lean and applicational benefits of lean in supply chain.
