  • Abstract:
  • Modern healthcare has quickly come to rely heavily on telemedicine, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic's challenges. This review article examines the meaning, uses, and advantages of telemedicine, emphasizing how it can improve patient outcomes, increase access to care, and enable prompt interventions. These modalities include video consultations, remote monitoring, and mobile health applications. The article also discusses the obstacles to broad adoption, including privacy concerns about patients, technological constraints, and regulatory issues. It is discussed where telemedicine will go in the future, including how artificial intelligence and new developments in digital health technologies will be incorporated. In order to fully realize the promise of telemedicine and make sure it forms the basis of patient-centered care in the years to come, this review emphasizes the necessity of ongoing research and policy development.
