Furthermore, socialism and the third wave of feminism are other concepts that are highlighted in this paper are popular trends during postmodern era. Foucault’s notion of the exercise of power and marginalisation, Baudrillard’s ideology on simulation, where he states that the difference between reality and fiction is blurred and Roland Barthes comments on the play of intertextuality are the major elements of this study.
