  • Abstract:
  • This study investigates the engrossment of workers in management practices within private sector industries in Ahmedabad, a rapidly growing economic hub in India. The research aims to understand the extent and impact of worker participation in decision-making processes and its correlation with organizational outcomes such as productivity, job satisfaction, and employee retention. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines quantitative data collected through structured surveys distributed to employees across various private sector industries with qualitative insights gathered from in-depth interviews with management and workers. The survey focuses on key areas of involvement, including participation in strategic planning, problem-solving, quality control, and workflow improvements.
