abstract = {Venture capital (VC) has become one of the most powerful mechanisms, which shaped the path of development of the Indian startup sector, allowing high-potential companies to grow quickly and reach the level of scale. Through strategic mentorship as well as networks in addition to the support of finances, VC has become a game changer in stimulating entrepreneurship in various sectors in the world. India The advent of sectoral investments in fintech, healthtech, agritech, and clean energy demonstrates how VC has acted as a catalyst in linking capital with innovation and transformed India economically. In addition to direct investment, venture capital plays a critical role in increasing ecosystem maturity, with added value coming in the form of fortification of institutional structures, fostering of accelerators, and support of partnership between start-ups, academia, and industry. It is also well known in the context of democratizing innovation, with VC opening the world to non-traditional founders, female entrepreneurs and startups based in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Moreover, through enhancing the pace of technological integration, including artificial intelligence and blockchain, the green technologies, VC not only contributes to improving the competitiveness; as a result, Indian startups are put in a position to approach international markets more successfully. The venture capital has a bigger effect beyond a financial measure and it offers returns on aspects like creation of jobs, financial literacy, and digital literacy in the larger social-economic sense. Additionally, the VC investments are developing an entrepreneurial culture of risk-takers, resilient and internationally minded, allowing Indian startups to become unicorns and become global contenders. This paper considers such multidimensional contributions venture capital to the start-up development of India focusing on its transformational impact in advancing sectoral innovation, culture transformation, and socio-economic progress, it also places Indian start-ups on the context of the changing global ecosystem.},
