  • The development of 802.16 standards for Broadband Wireless Access technologies(BWA) was motivated by the rapidly growing need for high-speed, ubiquitous and cost-effective access.The proposed baseband receiver applied inthe system with two transmit antennas and one receive antenna purposes to offer high performance in out door mobile environments. It delivers a simple and robust synchronizer and an precise but hardware inexpensive channel estimator to overcome the challenge of multipath fading channels.
