abstract = {In order for enhanced learning outcomes, artificial intelligence (AI) in learning systems refers to the use of intelligent algorithms that allow educational technologies to imitate human cognitive processes including learning, reasoning, and problem-solving. In learning systems, artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the application of computer-based technologies that mimic human intellect to allow educational systems to learn from data, adjust to the needs of learners, make judgments, and enhance teaching-learning procedures on their own. AI is widely used in academia nowadays, which has made learning systems and students' lives easier while also posing significant difficulties. AI tools make it easier and faster for us to do tasks. It has a detrimental effect on our ability to think critically, solve problems, plan, and write. The ability to analyse the way humans think and process cognitive information is known as metacognition. Currently, the use of artificial intelligence has affected human thinking and processing ability to a great deal. Even though Artificial intelligence has proven its positive influence over many corners of society, still it does not exist without its limitations. Two of the impacts that are mostly affected are Self esteem and Metacognition. The aim of study is to find the correlation between AI learning system, Self esteem and Metacognition. The sample for this study was 176 Indian university students for whom the data has been collected through convenient sampling via google form. Data collected on AI assisted learning system scale, Rosenberg Self Esteem scale and metacognition questionnaire scale measures. Descriptive and inferential statistics analysis has been done on Jamovi software. The result indicated a negative correlation between the AI learning system and Self esteem, Moreover, Negative correlation reported between AI learning system and Metacognition. Homogeneity of the sample, Over participate of the female, Lack of variance are considered as limitations of the study.},
