  • Abstract:
  • The present Quasi-experimental study aims to investigate the effectiveness of Mantra chanting intervention on Mindfulness, Aggression, and Impulsivity levels among school-going adolescents in the age range of 10- 19 years via convenience and purposive sampling using self-reported: 1) The mindfulness attention awareness scale (MAAS), 2) Aggression Questionnaire, and 3) BIS11- Barratt Impulsiveness Scale. The data analysis revealed that there exists a significant difference in improvement in Mindfulness and reduction in Impulsivity and Aggression levels due to Mantra chanting intervention at p < 0.001. Through rigorous experimental design and data analysis, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of the potential benefits of mantra chanting as a mindfulness practice for adolescents. The findings have implications for the development of interventions aimed at promoting psychological wellbeing and reducing negative behaviors among adolescents in school settings.
