  • Abstract:
  • The Indian investment landscape has undergone significant changes in recent years, driven by technological advancements, increased digitalization, and rising financial literacy. Traditional investment vehicles—including equity shares, mutual funds, fixed deposits, gold, and real estate continue to be widely used. However, cryptocurrencies have emerged as a disruptive asset class. This paper presents an analytical comparison of cryptocurrencies and traditional investment options in India, focusing on key factors such as risk, return, liquidity, volatility, regulatory frameworks, investor perception, and long-term sustainability.
